This is the second year of a two year course leading to a QQI Level 6 award in Animal Science. The course aims to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills to manage an animal care facility or to set up their own business. Often graduates progress to a Degree in Veterinary Nursing, Zoology, Biochemistry and Animal Science.
This comprehensive course aims to provide students with both the knowledge and practical skills necessary to access science based degree programmes (including sports science) in both Institutes of Technology and Universities Nationally.
