Our Art, Design & Technology Department contains a diverse range of well established courses, each of which exposes the student to different aspects of this creative and technical area.

We have a selection of Portfolio Preparation programmes which have been tailored to facilitate the development of high quality, industry specific portfolio submissions.  Our students have excellent progression rates into the country's top Art & Design colleges.

Our Construction/Handcrafted Furniture Design and Motor Vehicle Technology courses offer students the opportunity to gain experience in a practical “hands-on” work-shop based environment, and the time to decide the direction of their progression whether to third level or directly to industry.

Our Multimedia course offers excellent links with the Creative Media programmes in DKIT and DCU.  This innovative programme offers students the chance to develop their skills using industry standard design software in a state of the art Mac based facility.  Progression rates to degree level study are high, with successful graduates continuing to a range of creative and technical programmes nationally.

Our Advanced programmes in this area offer our students a chance to continue to develop their skills with us for an additional year.  Many of our advanced students leave these programmes with a view to setting up their own freelance businesses.
