Tourism with Airline Studies

Aim:

This course offers a choice of two areas a student can focus on in this area of tourism. One offers a broad business focus on the tourism industry in Ireland and abroad with a view to progressing to further education or employment. The other offers a focus on airline studies with a specific focus on progressing to a career in Cabin Crew or ground attendant.  Students will gain experience in a tourism related business by completing a work placement during the course.

Progression and Career Options:

On sucessful completion of this course students may progress within the institute to QQI Level 6 Business award or to 3rd level colleges in various related disciplines eg: hospitality or business studies. students may also progress directly to employment with airlines or other tourism related industries.
